* All ten of the photographs linked to this page were taken in the Majdanek Camp near Lublin during a research visit in June of 1998.

The color pictures are the first of several hundred photographs taken with both digital and traditional photographic cameras. This collection of photographs will be included in a forthcoming article describing this sad place.


The black & white picture was photographed in one of the the exhibits in the Majdanek Museum. It is from a newspaper article published on October 14, 1944 in The Illustrated London News.
